Conclusion

The benefits of keeping a teaching journal are principally their use as a record of incidents, problems, and insights that occurred during lessons; information that can be shared with others, not only for the improvement and resolution guide to assertive dynamics in a particular academic or school context; but also as evidence of regular conduct exercised.

First, the pedagogical practice allowed me to know different characteristics about my group of students talking about their knowledge and personalities. My students group was integrate for young people and adults, this group had several particularizes because is very homogeny, some students know basic vocabulary but others not know the English idiom, they can recognize greetings and commands. The communication all time was in English language but in some cases, the instructions were given in Spanish because they did not understand when the teacher was speaking in English.

On the other hand, visual task helped to learn to students, the graphics and draws allowed remaining vocabulary, likewise, the visual representations of the material, such as graphics, pictures, films, posters and diagrams allowed to improve the students' learning. The videos, movies or computer programs also enhanced this learning, but through the auditory visual learning process was more practice. Besides, teaching is not simply that the teacher will give you just the information you receive, but you drenches what you are seeing, smelling, touching, listening or seeing in general. Auditory visual learning, you will feel comfortable if you discuss, explain or offer information. Also, if you listen to different contexts: recordings, videos, interviews, or some situation, you will learn the educational material preferably listening. You think and remember sequential and orderly manner, so prefer oral content and assimilate better when you can explain it to someone else.

It is important to tell that I could help to students in the learning English language and their motivation, too. When the students are motivate, the learning will be successfully. The motivation playing an important role before to begin a class, because is there where the teacher although make or design didactic activities, will search to wake up the feelings and the interest about the topic that will teach to long of the class. Particularly for me, is very essential the motivation, when there is not motivation the learners not show interest and normally develop other task different to the class. Searching ludic activities and according with the level and age of learner, will help us too much for achievement of objectives.

Talking about weaknesses, some students have specific need in the listening skill. They not recognize sounds and phonemes’ of English language. I think that they need to know the alphabet sounds. Difficulty understand words and phrases when the teachers is speaking. In addition, they not have a wide vocabulary and not practicing the pronunciation of the words. It is very important to create strategies to improve all those communicative skills. Search strategies where the learner can learn words for communicate in a specials occasions, in class, or habitual communication. For this is necessary implementing and identifying innovative strategies of learning in order to achieve a meaningful teaching –learning process. On this sense, it is very important give feedback about of doubts and problems that haven these learners.

Aspects that maybe could be improved are: give previous to the class the vocabulary to develop, so they can participle and to understand the indications gave for the teacher, also is more easy achievement the objectives and to have a successfully class. Likewise, developing class with communication only in English, searching the unknown words, using the dictionary, ask to the teacher if have doubts about of topic, learning five or ten new words for class, making a vocabulary with words with unknown words, etc., these are strategies that will help us in our English practice with the learners in the classroom. Finally, I feel gratefully with this experience, because allow me to explore other space that was a little unknown for me, for example, I worked with adults, with university students, this experience was wonderful for me and I am very happy because they are pretty glad with my work and I think, that is the most important thing.

Who I am as a teacher

My teaching philosophy Professional, human and cognitive growth of a language teacher, whatever their level of preparation when it starts to teach, makes him or her participate in an educational institution and an educational abreast of current technological society, social convergence and realities in communicating to various situations. It is therefore necessary to address development beyond the instructional training but also to play an active role of the historical development of educational theories and dynamics; configuring an expected growth by objective goals and by breaking action boundaries in favour of both pedagogical and didactic good practice.   My beliefs about my teaching We believe that students learn best:  When they believe they can learn.  In different ways and at different rates When the classroom and school environment supports their emotional, social, cultural and educational needs. When the learning is authentic (ie. involves real...
